My name is Marcella.
Writtenin this way, In English it would be pronounced the same way, “Marsella”.
The vowel E transforms this word into other meanings: a cella, or cell, of the sea for the Italian language.
“Sea -Mare” suits me, as I was born on an island.
The word “mare”, in English, is the female horse.
“Mare – Cavalla” is the nickname given to me by one of the teachers, Marco De La Pierre, from ISI, International Studies Institute of Florence. For my energy, he tells me.
Ok, I take this multi-faceted nickname and I say thank you. I like.
Here I am, with my foal. The sea, the one on the cover, is “mine”, the one where I was born.

I have been in Italy for a week food is good, BUT the food I learned how to make with Marcella was deliciosa!!! I lam confident with Marcella’s patience I can too create such an AMAZING meal! Plus I had so much fun, who knew cooking can be fun, educational and delicious!
Thank you Marcella and your lovely coworkers!
