Yes, Leigh Hutchinson is exactly the same. Hard work hasn’t dampened her passion and desire to do well.

This is what happens: they say opening a restaurant is one of the most stressful jobs in the world. It’s true, I know something about it.

Responsibility comes first: we’re feeding people, and nothing can be left to chance: ingredients, cooking methods, the skills and attitudes of the staff, the smile.
If we then add the fatigue, the inventory rotation, the cleaning, the bills, the taxes…

Leigh Hutchinson knows all that and knows how to face that. With the same passion, with the same beauty.

The beauty – besides on her face and her eyes – is inside her, it the same as the passion she has; the same as the strenght to carry on.

We met many years ago.

She hasn’t changed in all these years: same beautiful, “open smile” face; same determination to learn.

This is a post on my blog in 2016:

This is her resturant today:

https://www.viatriozzi.com

I will be there, as Guest Chef, at the beginning of March 2026. I will have the honor to cook with this tenacious, solid, beautiful Chef. I cannot wait.

Soon You readers will know the menu. Every dish will be prepared by expert but calm hands, with knowledge and joy to please you palate and your soul.

Thank you Dear Leigh: I am learning a lot from your tears as well from your energy. You threw your soul over the obstacle and you won.
